i was wondering if large mouth bass would get along with peacock bass in a outdoor pond i dont worry about cold because my pond has never dropped lower than 60 degrees and it only gets that cold during the winter and i might also heat it of course i cant put koi in the pond becuase of there bright oranges and whites they would easily be seen by evil birds and eaten i used to always have koi and large goldfish in my pond but they always got eaten but green and gray colored fish seem to never get eaten becuase of hiding places and blending in wih the alagea but everything else gets eaten i really need to get a scarecrow or something.

My LMB never got along with anything, but it might work in a pond. Have a backup plan.

na lmb would def beat the hell outta the pbass... Def tried that already

Have both in my pond and they live just fine.. 20" Largemouth and Several Peacock bass from 12-18 inches.. They have been kept in aquariums together as well when they were younger...

I think its more hit or miss....IMO its mostly miss...

if they are raised together in a tank will they get along because i am going to have a 480-500 gallon tank with only three monos or ocels and two aros and a catfish or do you guys know of any other fish that can get along with pbass i will only be heating the pond in the winter late fall and possibaly early spring but i cant get gar becuase they are ilegal in california :irked: for some strange reason
