Hey I haven't had a fishtank in quite sometime. I have a 55 gallon tank. I used to have 2 Oscars in it a while ago. Now, I'm thinking about setting up the good ole tank again and getting another Oscar. I thought 2 in one tank was a little bit crowded and I did not like how they competed. Would you think 1 Oscar would do better off if I decide to go that route again?

Also I would be interested in suggestions of other aggressive fish I could put in my tank as well. I really would like to just have one fish in there that I can feed. My flatmate has a Smallmouth tank in a 75 gallon that is cool. (his name is smalley lol) So I kinda really miss having a tank and a fish. Any suggestions would be well appreciated!

I agree, I wouldnt put much else in a 55 gallon with 1 oscar already in it. You already know how messy 2 can be, and with that size of a tank the parameters may not be very stable if you add much more too it.

Ya thats what I'm thinking. Two Oscars just was way way too crowded. I'm hoping that 1 works out much better.

Im sure it will. Good luck w you set up
