Hello everyone. Been lurking around here for a while and now I got a question.
I am setting up a 200 gallon 6ft african cichlid tank and am in need of lighting, originally I was going with a 72" 4x96w pc or similar t5 equivalent but I have been offer 3x250w meal halide setup for less than what either of those would cost me.
My question is; would this be too much lighting, can I replace the bulbs with 150w's how much affect would there be having the light higher off the tank?
