So about 5 months ago i decoded to set up a 5 foot 120 gallon and wanted to put shelldwellers in it. After alot of research and trying to find a place to source them here in australia i settled on getting some Neolamprologus Similis, all i could find was 3 of them, i ended up with two males and 1 female from what i can tell. Anyways after about 2 month of having them, i went away on a holiday and come back to there being 4 fry in the tank, moving 2 months into the future there is two of them alive (the other two where there one day and gone the next), The fry are like two months old and are about 1/2 an inch or so. They haven't had anymore since. My question is how often do they breed for you guys that keep them, and how long did it take for them to really kick off with the breeding. Thanks in advance. FYI the Ph is 8.2, ammonia 0, nitrite, 0, nitrate is between 5 and 10.
