Would Melafix Interrupt My Tank Cycle?

I am towards the end of my tank cycling. I am just waiting for my nitrites to drop.

I am treating my bass for some cloudy eye and a little fin rot with aquarium salt. It seems to be working, but the eye still has this dead skin on it and the fin is only healing a bit.

I have Melafix and wanted to try it, but I don't want to interrupt my cycle. Will it?

Also, do you have to remove your carbon filters?

I have used it plenty of times and it did not mess up any levels in the tank. As for the carbon I could not tell you because I don't use carbon in my tanks

yes. remove your carbon. It says on the package to remove it.
