Do you think my angels would spawn on this piece of slate, I read somewhere that they lay eggs on slate? The slate really wasn't meant for them to breed but I think I see some pairing off and would they lay eggs on it?
Would my angels like this?

I have some more pieces of slate and if they look really seroius about breeding I'll put it out for them.
How small, is small? They may not be mature enough to breed. Keep it as vertical as possible..don't be surprised if they lay eggs on the heater or filter intake tube.
