Hey all I am wondering if peacocks would work in a community setting with giant danios black ruby barbs and cory cats? Tank is a 65 gallon thinking of adding a few peacocks in this community setting. Or would the peacocks kill the barbs and danios

I have never tried it, but I doubt the community fish would last long.

I saw a peacock in my tank eat a pretty large Julie.. I'd pretty sure it would eat all your tropicals in that tank eventually.

Update the giant danios work fine. the black ruby barbs not so well . I took the black ruby barbs out and the cories since I want some synodntis petricola and multis. The giant danios are working out good as they seem to get the Africans to stay out in the open, The danios are too fast for the Africans and they seem to ignore them.

Danios should be fine however it does depend on the africans personalities. The only problem I see with the Danios is that their upper water temp. requirement is around 76 and the peacocks should be from 78-82. What peacocks did you add? I've been able to keep a group of 5 tiger barbs alive for over a year now with my 55 gallon Peacock/Hap/Mbuna tank
