Hey all, i already have a dat about 11" in my tank for 2-3 years now.

the setup is bare bottom and i don't have any deco in there

i saw a dat about 11" in my LFS and i just wonder if they would fight if i add him to my setup??

if so, is there anyway and thing i can do to reduce aggression?

Really depends what kind of datnoids are we taking about.

Are they breakers or pop-lockers? What kind of music is playing?

Well, since you haven't grown them since babies together, probably not. If there are a ton of other fish and there is room to spread the aggression, go for it. But for 2 11" dats a 240g or so will be needed esp. at that size

Best to add different sizes with big indos. . U have rays yes?

yes i have rays.

there is a pair of arowana and a 12" flag tail in there too.

the dat we are playing are both indos.

hit or miss??

It's fine if they are indos. I have all kinds of sizes of Indos in 1 tank. Ranges from 3"- 13"

Honestly, tigers like to scrap. You will definately see some aggression but it shouldn't be serious. Good luck

I've never heard of them fighting to the death like cichlids do. The worst thing you could run into that I've seen would be one establishing dominance and the other hiding most of the time.
