In a 300 tank could I keep the folllowing?:

-Bichir
-Bowfin
-Red Tail Payara
-Jardini
-African Pike
-Pleco

And if so, how many of each? I'd like to have multiple of some and not just one of each. Or what combos would work the best?

I do love those fish but I want at least some variety in my tank =/ know which fish would go best with them?

Also, I need more ideas people!

I really would like a fire eel or some kind of eel maybe. But I am really wanting a bichir or two. Ornates are soo awesome looking

Ok, I will try to give you advise because no one else will. What are the dims on the 300g? In theory as long as the fish are pretty much the same size they should be fine together. I don't have a lot of experience with most of your fish listed, but it seems like a good mixture of bottom dwelers and constant swimmers, so they should stay out of each others way. HTH

I am taking the Bowfin off that list. But I am just concerned with the Payaras and Pikes possibly attacking other fish.
