I used to have a 30 gal tank(for my convict cichlids). I still have it though, But it's empty. I really want to set it up with some african cichlids. Do you think these fish will get along in a 30 gal .. 1 auratus,1 johanni,2 socofoli,and 1 kenyi. I already have 2 other tanks..90 gal CA and SA cichlids..55 gal 2 pairs of convict's and one bumblebee cichlid(bumblebee is 3 inches). Thank you..

i haven't tried this combination myself but if you wanna mix them put a convict,a firemouth,an aurutus cichlid, and a kenyi
If you want a 30 gallon mbuna tank avoid pretty much all of the species you listed, especially auratus and kenyi. The are some of the most aggressive mbuna you can find and are capable of killing off your other fish in such a small tank. For a tank that size you want to stick with dwarfs. Cynotilapia afra have a lot of variation. I think the best species for that tank size is Ps saulosi. Males are blue with black stripes and the females are yellow. Stick to a species tank.

i hate auratus, those are the most blood thirsty fish i have ever owned. i put him in a aggressive mbuna tank with about 10 other labs. and cobalts and he was like 2" smaller than them and every day i would find 1 or two more dead. Savage and unrelentless

These are all pretty large fish when fully grown. They need more space than a 30 gallon. I wouldn't even recommend a single species of those you listed.
IMO, you need to get some smaller fish for a 30 gallon.
