Would this be good filtration for a 240 gallon

A Fluval fx5, Life Guard Fluinized(srry for spelling) bed filter, and two emperor filters.

if you are keeping piranhas, no it wouldn't be enough in my estimate.

Go with the FX5 in conjunction with 2 Aqua Clear 110. Each 110 will push 500 gallons and hour. So that is 1900 gph. Even decreasing flow by a third because of dirty media you still have a flow rate of 1200+ gph. That means you are pushing water through the filters at least 5x an hour. Plus the 110 are only 60 bucks a piece and the give agitation to the surface of the water versus everthing in a canister where there is minimal air flow if any.

The other option is two go with a sump.
