Hi
Just bought a 520 litre tank 5 ft
Here’s the link ( https://www.allpondsolutions.co.uk/aquarium/fish-tanks/cabinet/520-litres/ )
And yes I have a 406 as well.
And I plan on having this as stock:
1 fire eel
1 ornate bichir
1 lima shovel nose catfish ( in UK so probably not the true Lima)
1 Oscar
1 albino Oscar
1 green terror
1 red terror
1 black nasty ( Nandopsis haitiensis)
1 rocket gar (Ctenolucius hujeta)
I have kept all of the fish except for the catfish and black nasty, so any tips would be greatly appreciated. Now I know there are 5 aggressive cichlids in a 5ft so there could always be issues but have kept terrors and Oscar for years. Or do you have any recommendations for a cichlid/cichlids combo that would/should work with the oddballs on the list?:) cheers.

Agree with the others, maybe one cichlid, or the 2 oscars, a pair of one species, with the non-cichlids.
This about all that tank will hold comfortably as adults (or even semi-adults).
If you grew a couple cichlid species in it together from juvies, there is a chance that theymay divide up the limited territory, but not the haitiensus.
I kept my pair in a slightly larger tank, and they wouldn't accept any tank mates, cichlids or non-cichlids.

Yeh sounds best to be honest, yeh I’ll remove the nasty till I get a bigger tank, so I’m thinking maybe green terror and 1 Oscar, I have 2 55 gal and 1 75 gal spare so if I need to remove the Oscar or terror at some point then that won’t be a problem. I was also thinking that I’ll have the non cichlids in there first then get the Oscar and terror at the same time same size. Thanks for your help
