So eventually Ill be building another tank and I am messing around with trying to find the easier way to filter it. Tank will be 8' long and 2.5-3 feet deep and 30" tall
Im thinking of having 2 3000gph pumps, if I can find another quiet one 6000 down the line. So the objective would be having a 12"x24x30 area where the pumps would go into the bottom which then a tray would go on top filled with bio media, then multiple floss pads for mechanical. Which the start of it would be like a 2" deep x whatever over flow at the top. I guess the main question is would this alone provide adequate filtration for big fish if I set up the current right? Maybe a UGJ system?
