Do you suppose caribe's could mix with red bellies? Maybe. However, if you have 5 red bellies, or vice versa, I think the oddball would be killed, knowing the piranhas reputation.

Yes, any of the pygo species can mix, and piranha are very skittish, very pussy fish.

I know they are skittish, and they are weak when alone. But don't call them pussies, because when they get together, they are like a killer chainsaw.

I have odd ballz in my pack and , NO ! It's not a problem I have herd
of many cases of a odd ball .
I have just 1 Caribe and 2 reds ODD !
I also have 2 Ternz and 1 Piraya ODD !

No Problems .

YES IT WILL WORK , IT HAS TIME AFTER TIME AGAIN .

No there not, they only eat injured or distressed animals, or fish.

They are lethal in i'd say packs of 30 or more. IN THE AMAZON, not in a home aquarium.

Lethel is rite in the wild they pack up to 200 in a school :headbang2
Can you call them pus$y now , I am not so much sticking up for Piranha
but their is no way I would V's Piranha , They will flee.......... Or if in a frenzy
200 strong nothing can stand up to a pack that hard core .

I kinda have to agree with that...Sure their tough in the wild..but I cant even step near my piranhas without them bouncing off the walls running away. And in the wild they dont stick with everybody to hunt better, they do that to be safer.

I agree master K, but nobody owns a tank with 200 piranha, so seeing there true being is left to nature.

Yeah. But seriously, they have huge schools in nature. I don't call them wusses to offend them, but come on...they are skittish. Especially when there is only one. I'm sure an oscar, gt, or jd would easily bully off a single piranha. (not a rhom). Strength in numbers!
