Hi everybody,

I'm currently debating a 330 gallon tank dimension 48WX60LX27H for house my three Black Diamond Stingray. Would this tank size and dimension of it house them for their life span. It seem I have too many stingray in my other tank so I need to find them a new home. Thank you for your input.

No way I'd do it. I bought a 10x4 for Marbles and they stay a lot smaller then black rays.

I'm sure you could get by for a while till you upgrade, but for life I'm sticking to no, but then again I clash with most ray keepers when it comes to population density so I'm sure other may think it would be OK.

I'd also seriously question water stability on a tank volume that is that small compared to what the bio load would be. I shoot for a sump volume at least equal to my tank volume for added stability.

I too do not think this will be big enough, one might be ok for some time but not 3. You can add a lot more volume for stability by using a sump nearly as large as the tank but those 3 fish will need more room eventually.

My 300 looks small already and I am only just passed 1yr 6 months in to keeping 2 rays, one pearl and one marble motoro. Already I am designing the next monster tank.
