I have posted before but have reconsidered a few things. In the spring I am getting a 180-220g. I would like to move my convicts to a 40 breeder with a jewel cichlid. Then for the big tank have:
3 oscars
1 green terror
1 Jack Dempsey
1 peacock bass
1 veija argentea

Would this work? I would like as much input as possible. I might end up getting rid of on of my Oscar but hopefully not. I would be running a sump and a canister filter with twice a week water changes.

pbass get massive, thats the only problem i can see.
in my 180 i have 3 oscars, 1 male GT, 1 female JD, 1 red bay snook and a few other randoms and its fine so far. My GT is still only small though so he could grow up to be a phyco you never no. I run 2 big canisters and the parameters are perfect.

replace the pbass with a petenia and it seems like a decent stocklist, although I'd cut down the oscars to one, and if anything go with lone specimens of other species instead of the 2 spare oscars.

Bump. What is bad about the peacock bass in the tank, te amount of room for the fish or the width. Don't peacock bass get from 20-24".

Everything except the PBass would work perfectly in my opinion. If you got one of the smaller species of PBass that would work out too.
