in a 75gallon?

1xLong fin senegal
1xDelhezi
1xOrnate
1xPlat senegal
1xweeksii
1xbrown knife/maybe a spiny eel instead

I'm just trying to figure out what to put in this thing.

Thanks

That depends. Are you talking about housing for life, or as an interim grow out? Might be a bit tight in there after a year or two.

If you are looking at long term, the del and sene's would be fine, however the ornate is going to need more room. The good news is that ornates are relatively slow growers, and not terribly active in general, so you will have some time to upgrade.

I'd say the weeksii would be pushing it as well, but I've not had the luck to find one yet, so no personal experience.....

Cool man, didnt see your post. Thanks for the help bro! The tank will be a long term/lifetime tank for the polys. I've been looking at some other smaller species of polys, and I'll ask about them tommorow, as I gotta go right now.... Thanks again dude.

That's not going to motivate more people to respond. Ask nicely and you shall get replies. People work and stuffs so not everyone have access to a computer all day long with so much time on their hand.

With your bichir combo your tank maybe a little crowded but should be ok if you can keep up with the waterchanges.

Thank you for dropping some knowledge on this newb  :j/k:

It's true though. You'll rarely see a post from me earlier than 10pm, unless I have a minute at work to browse the forum, or on my days off if I've got nothing to do.

Anyways, yes the stock list would be fine except the ornate. Life time for an ornate should be at least 24" wide and 5-6' long.

I would skip on the eel and go with the knife.

A little unappreciative? I second serg's advice- all of it works except for the ornate. You're going to have a tank whose inhabitants are (for the most part) bottom dwellers. I'd get a larger tank and a species that will inhabit the upper stratum of your tank.

I got shot down pretty hard on this too. Sounds good except for the Ornate. I went with Dels for my 75 instead of an ornate.
