hi,i have a 75 gallon long tank and have the following fish in the tank

1 x 8 inch senegal
1 x 5 inch palmas poli
1 x 5 inch delhezi
1 x 4 inch salvini
1 x 3 inch gold severum
1 x 3 inch firemouth
1 x 3 inch nicaraguan

i know when the fish get larger that i will be overstocked but at the moment they are fine for a while.what i want to know is,i want to get a green terror to go in the tank.i know some fish will need to go to make room.i want to keep the senegal and the delhezi and maybe the salvini and the firemouth.could the gt go in with those????

The answer to that question depends on so many factors that I don't know if anyone can give you the right answer. Congrats on the delhezi, that is one sweet fish! IMO the firemouth should be removed if you are wanting to add a GT. Good luck!

if you already have a goldsaum, it will fight with the gt. Also, the salvini and nic are abit too agressive for that setup. I would get rid of the salvini, and dont get anything. hey you might be okay.

It is a tough call GT's can be aggressive with other fish (especially cichlids) so it depends on the temperament of the GT. My Gt is in a 75 grow-out with a jag and they are definitely not friends but I have decorated the tank in such away that they have their own distinct territories. So when they are in their own areas there is a truce of sorts but when one of the two fish moves to close to the others area the flaring and/or chasing begins.

if the GT is smaller it might work as a growout... if the gt is bigger then i would say move the bichirs out cuz i wouldnt want to loose those..... I'm not an expert but i think delhizi and senegal bichirs need bigger home that a 75 full grown.... Is this a grow out tank?
