Hi, I want to put all this in my tank but don't know if it would work. JD, convict, green phantom pleco, red tail shark and 6 tiger barbs. I really like what I want in this tank and really want it to work. Thanks in advance

What size tank are you working with? I think you can pull it off in a 75.

I don't know how big those plecos et but if they on the smaller side then I think I can work. My jack Dempsey and convict hated each other though. They were in a 55 for a while.

The ellioti should be fine. Some get really aggressive though, so just keep an eye on the aggression.
It could, but anything is a gamble w/ CA cichlids. Will you be adding them all at the same time? That might help. Also make sure you have a lot of hiding spots.

Give it a try. If they grow together it might work. I recently had a male JD that was very peaceful and just snapped. He went crazy on the other tank mates w/ no known cause. But you never know if something will work until you try. Good luck!
