Would this work??

In my experience with Dempseys, I'd have to say that you'd definitely have problems. I've seen Dempseys go after Oscars that were big enough to make them look like fry. They just have a lot of pluck. That bichir is going to look like a giant worm to him. This is just my opinion, but like I've said, I've had trouble with dempseys, so I know how the bad end of the spectrum can be. The wife has more experience with Silver Dollars (assuming that's what you meant by SD), and she says she wouldn't reccomend the silver dollar as a tankmate. Even though she says it wouldn't be as aggressive as the Dempsey, she says fin-nipping could be a serious problem out of the SD.

I had a JD that wasn't aggressive at all. Everyone else picked on him so I had to get rid of him. It was really nice too. :(

Silver Dollars pose no problems. I keep 3 SD in my bichir tank and the only thing they seem to nip at are live plants. I also have Jack Dempseys that aren't aggressive. I tried to put my JDs with my Flower Horn and the FH just beat them up. So whether or not a JD will pose a problem to an albino senegal would really depend on your JD's personality.

I think after a little mind debate I'm going to give it a try if I can find some larger bichirs. My JD seems to be a little on the non-agro side. Hopefully it works or I'm going to need to find a spot for another tank.
Thanks
Jason
