Ok so I get my grans house when she pops her clogs.
She has had Loads of work done on it. And has a concrete Garage.
Its 12 foot long by 8 foot wide by 8 foot tall.
It is constructed from Concrete pillars and Concrete panels with rebar in them.

As the Garden has been terraced and is also concrete. I can use this to park my Cars.

So I was thinking Could i just take out a few Side Panels and make it into a Pond. Constructing an inner frame and making a huge waterfall using a fallen oak tree. have some glass/acrylic panels for viewing. i'sd make it around 2/3 foot deep.
I could leave the roof intact and use this as shade and also lighting rig.

Stocking would be Silver/Black arrows and nice large trops.

so would this be feasable.

i would have another 20sq metres of land behind the house aswell to use if i needed a garage.

its the same as this and uses prefab concrete panels with rebar in them. theres also another one next to it 3 times the size.

I think it would be very fesable. The only concern I would have is if its pre fab, make sure the corners are securly bolted together. The walls themselves will be strong enough. Just make sure they dont come apert from each other under the water weight. But with only 2-3 feet deep there wont be much stress on them.

thanks for the info.
at least i know i can use these and not have to build a huge tank.
it would probably be a palladrium type pond. with lods of emersed plants. and sectioned off areas for feeders to live aswell.

hey guys,

this will be a few years from being started.

a few things:

Would it be better completly seal the inside of the frame with a Pond membrane.
then add glass/acrylic Panels. (glass i can get from my uncles glass factory)

for filtration i was thinking of using 50-100G chemical drums and have them set up as trickle towers/wet dry

would use heavy load pond pumps

she's already outlived 2 husbands and is over 90.
No worries about remarrying - She's an evil old battleaxe + plus she can't change her will without my sayso (made sure about that).
