Would this work?

Today, I saw an IT and it looks like a ST (with 3 strips on one side)and I brought it.. The IT is in the tank with the AT and NTT, but the AT is showing the aggression and bullying..

Im wondering if I goto a store and buy 3 Tiger Barb (looks similar to the dat and cheap), would that reduce the aggression?

what size are the dats? If the Dats are small enough they would be great to try, but would become lunch eventually.

If you are gonna try it, get more then 3, the more the better, and if the AT wants to just kill one, the barbs wont stand a chance.

oh and you can use any fish that will swim around to distract some agression, they dont have to look similar to the fish you are trying to settle down.

Try adding more visual barriers and hidespots...that's helped somewhat with my ATs. Even moving the decor around a bit will help, that way they have to reclaim territory and they're not defending what they already feel is theirs.

I'd leave the barbs as they tend to be nippy.

my silver will bully any other tiger i put in for 2 days then he accepts it. They are scrappy and will always look to gain the upper hand but will settle down

My 5" NTT can tell the difference between a 1" Dat and a 1" Tiger Barb

The 3 Tiger barb hits the tank, and less than 5 mins they were all gone another $3.5 feeder

Yeah...if they can fit in their mouths you can be pretty sure they will eat them. Do you have a lot of visual barriers and hide spots??
