Other than being out in the midwest lately on personal business this is takeing up a lot of my time lately. I didn't go boating once last year because of building the new house. I'm trying to work some shots of wildlife into the boating. I just have a hard time getting my self to slow down enough to be able to use the camera.

That's a sleek looking boat you got there! How big? I'd estimate it at 18-20'? And it must go some as well.. what's that merc pushing out? My (my dads) boat is a 5.7 as well giving 300hp getting up to 50 knots... its a rinker 232 captiva bowrider if you're interested. Do you just use yours at the weekend when the weathers good?

This is about 290 HP right now. Speedometer is in MPH, about 65 - 68 MPH at 4600 RPM. I'm putting in a 345 HP this winter.

I'm afraid I'm a fair weather boater. Good days only. I don't have much fun going fast with rain hitting me in the face and eyes.

my friends run the same engine in the sportique xls comp ski boat.

monsoon where do you use the boat in scotland.

we used to go to lockview near crocketford (dumfries) with a blue fletcher arrowflite 140 but not been this year.

Dixon our boats not actually in Scotland - have you seen the weather up here? Lol, well all I can say is it's CRAP and it would be virtually pointless having a boat sitting around because it would never be in use. So we went down to Torguay for this boat and then took it right over to Menorca on the ferries because its just such a great boating setting. the only downside being we only get a fortnights use a year so it is a bit of a waste but its really worth it when its being used.

Thanks all. I'm changing aquarium water today and wishing I was out playing. Oh well along with the fish comes comes the resposability to give them proper care.
