Would You Rather...

I was just wondering, would you rather buy a "monster" fish when it is small or at a pretty big size. This is just a question ive always wonderd since on alot of these forums people buy "adult" fish ect, i seem to have a hard time giving up fish that i got at a small size, and somtimes i show less interest into a way bigger fish that i did not grow out, so i figured i would wanna see what everyone else thinks:)
 
i prefer to raise it when young, so you can compare the huge difference when it grows!
 
I always preferred mature fish. I guess I just dont have the patience to wait it out...:(
 
Well thats true, I guess I bought too many flowerhorn ...gotta wait til they get big to see what your getting!!!!:ROFL:
 
both i guess. some fish just grow too slow and sometimes you find a big ole monster that you absolutely have to have. of course growing a fish out is half the fun. :)
 
It all depends on what fish it is...

I do prefer to grow my own stuff out as it gives me a feeling of accomplishment...but if its a very large fish that takes ages to grow ie datnoids....ill grab them.

Actually ill grab any large fish that I want if I have the money :ROFL:

i prefer getting them while theyre still juvy's its really fun to raise ur monsters. :)
