I've decided that I'm going to quit waiting for all of my lfs to get them and I want to order offline.

So far the best deal that I've come across was from live aquria. Are they easy to deal with if something did go wrong? And for the most part, are the fish usually delivered in good shape?

I've had a good experience with them on a couple of orders. Although the shipping might be a bit much and afaik there's a $30 min. I've only done larger orders and all of the fish were in great condition.

I've had no issues so I can't speak for their service in that regard.

I planned on ordering six of them and let a pair form. The one lfs that can get them is a two hour drive away. So the price for shipping is actually cheaper for me than the gas. I will end up paying roughly 11 dollars per fish if you take shipping into account.

I've read a few reviews on them and it seemed to favor them being a quality company to order from. I just wanted to hear some personal experiences from you guys.

Yeah that's probably the best way to do it then. There's some really nice wild strains floating around some vendors too. I would definitely recommend them though, nice bagging and all the updates you could need. Their guarantee seems pretty forgiving too, all around good experience for me.

Another option might be Imperial tropicals. The shipping is standard 2 day but is free if you spend 30, and it still has a live arrival guarantee. In addition, their bagging worked for my 4 geo red heads despite a post office screw up and travel time of 5 days without a single loss.

+1 on Imperial. I just got 2 Gts for $22 with the free shipping from them. I would say you would be pushing it if you are more than 3 or 4 states away though. They're in Northern Florida and I am in South Florida and they traveled for about 2 days and a half. They did arrive very healthy despite the travel time and USPS sticking them in the mailbox instead of bringing them to the door :(

Problem is I live in PA.
