Would you toss them in?

Say you have a pure breed breeding pair of fish in your hands. And they are tank bred by J rapps , Rusty wessel, your neighbor or whoever the hell you want to trust.

Those fish are now extinct. Been eaten away by man or taken into tanks for their wild caught status.

Now in this scenario:
with the pair of fish, you stand at the water of the most home sweet home original spot of when they weren't discovered by man to be eaten yet.

Would you toss them back in the water to do what you can to revive their existence in nature because man messed them up. or would you say it is wrong because that's the rule; it is tampering with nature.

ps. And if that is tampering with nature then what is man taking them out of the water for? to eat! duh. That's nature to me.

if you only have the last two i would breed them and build up a population. then dump them in

I wouldn't toss them back. What I would do is breed them, go back to who I got them see if they have more get a breeding program started if possible to reintroduce them back to native range. Although to do that it would take more than a couple of hobbyist to do so. If it was that easy I'd assume we would have done it with lysoni already. Cause someone correct me if I'm wrong are they not extinct in the wild.

i would release the spawn in the water. keep the parents, more eats for later. humans have a way of removing themselves from the equation. our time here is terminal or finite, when the sun novus 4 billion years from now, man will have already been wiped out long before then. life will continue till that time, earth will continue till that time. we make to much of our selves thinking we need to save the earth. earth recover just fine from anything we do. not make jack crap wither we as a species do. statement "save the earth" read as save our selves.
