I havnt gotten the courage up to fill my tank up because of the stand. Obviously its a cinder block stand with 2x6s running the length of the tank. Also the tank has a corner over flow so about 9.5" of the left hand side and 6" of the back on the left are unsupported leaving room for the over flow. In other words, the entire rear left hand corner is unsupported but the rest of the tank is. Guy I bought it from said he ran it like this with no issues, What do yall think?

I think id spend $50 on some 2x4s and screws...

+1 and just follow the design that everyone else does online. You could put it together in 1-2 hours at most and feel much better about it. Glass tanks the outside corners are the most important support of all.

I think it should be fine but there is some risk...

Why not just get a board 1 inch thick or so, drill the bulkheads out place the board on the 2x4s and fix with nails.. much more simpler then building a stand and cinder blocks imo are much more stronger then 4x2s.

If you really want you can add another beam of cinders near the bulk heads etc. I would try to get it under the corner thats floating.

The wood will distribute the weight evenly among the blocks.

also seems you have no foam under the tank?

You just need a power drill to pilot the holes then drive the screws in. Your local hardware shop can cut your wood to whatever lengths you need. You just assemble.
