Hey guys, so its day 4 since I've recieved my caribes and my wounded caribe is now hanging out near the top front corner of the tank. he obviously doesn't eat, and but his dead skin loosened up and sorta melted off exposing his pink flesh. The wounds seem to be healing, but today i noticed a white fuzzy patch growing over his eye, so i started Pimafix treatment. So far, he's been treated with melafix, salt, and now pimafix. He's made it this far, do you guys think he stands a chance? here is the video:

Thanks in advance for you diagnosis! If you guys have any suggestions, please let me know. I really hope this one makes it i dont want the other caribe to be without a buddy!

well, the other caribe has been leaving him alone. i have been keeping some feeders in the tank to keep him busy. Here are some pictures i took wiht my phone. theyre not very good, but you will be able to see his wounds better. what do you guys think its from? i know that he didnt get bitten from the other P. what do you guys think it is? :

Thanks guys for all of your advice!

I know that you said he was bitten...but.

I've seen that exact same wound pattern along the side with a cropped tail on a spawning red belly pair.

he DIDN'T get bitten. these abrasions were caused by the container he was shipped in and im trying to revive him.

dude run down to your LFS and get a bottle of Stress Coat.. ...if you can pick the fish up from the tank, pour some of that directly onto the fish.... don't get it in its eyes or gills.. but definitely on the wound. ...I had a friend with an oscar that was picked on badly and that stuff took care of it..

wierd how that tail looks half eaten when it's abrasions from the shipping container.
