I bought 4 tiny jag's last night to grow out and hopefully get a nice pair for my 125 in storage by the end of summer.
I also bout $10 worth of feeder guppy's (60) for my other fish(they are so small they are pretty much fry). Since they are so small and all came from the same LFS I just put them in with the guppy's in a 20L quarantine tank.
I started doing maintenance on my other tanks, and about an hour later when I came back to view their tank, they all had a guppy in their mouth. I added a bunch of floating plants to the tank afterward s for some cover, hopefully some guppy's will be left by this time next week when I move the Jags from the 20L to a 55 grow-out, I was hoping to breed the guppies.
Just wanted to share this, as I was amazed a 3/4" jag could eat a 1/2" guppy.
