So I bought a Red Devil from my LFS thinking it was a female because it was about 12'' and had NO BUMP what so ever... not even alittle bit... so I go out and buy a male flowerhorn last week thats 9'' hoping they would mate and they got in a fight the first 30 seconds they met and the red devil beat the hell out of the flowerhorn... so I come home today to find out the red devil is a male, he all of a sudden out of no where has a HUGE HUMP on his head... pretty funny... wanted my RD to mate with my FH, oh well.. funny stuff

actually they are pretty funny when they change on you like that... hope your FH is okay.yeah i hope so too, ijust actually recently got him and all hes eaten in 5 days is live one day.... im alittle worried because hes scared to come to the top of the tank when i feed them pellets because the devil is always at the top when i open it.... we'll see...
