I spent $47 to fill up my tank on my Cutlass. Local gas prices are averaging about 2.95/gallon in MI. Is it any less painful elsewhere?

I figured it was better here than other states, certainly, but $1 more? LOL I followed trend and shut my car off waiting for a train today. LOL

Somebody post those prices in Europe again. In Europe you have to walk to the grocery store, or you won't have any money when you get there. Not that I like high gas prices.
