ok well here is the situation, went away for 3 days for holidays and i come back and my clowns have spawned. The reason i know this is because my geo's would protect the eggs and are mouth brooders, my stingrays re produce internally, my one indo tiger is far to small to breed, so that leaves mt tt eel and fire eel cross breed ? i doubt it. And lastly my clown which are egg scatters. I only noticed because they spawned on a tinny peace of wood as in this peace of wood is mearley a sliver and likely to be just floating mid water at the time of spawning. Currentley i have the eggs in a tumbler with a small jet pack and air rator to keep them moving. I have treated the water with anti fungal med, as some of the eggs look to be starting to fungus over. I am doubting they will survived as i am ill prepared for this. Atm there are some copper - yellow eggs and some that have not been federalized. The clowns in the tank range in size from 9-4 inches and all are aprox 5 years of age.

I will keep this updated as the eggs continue to grow into fry, if they make it that far. Also i will post pics of the eggs as they mature once i figure out how to do that for my pc.

Awesome bro!, I hate to put a downer on you, it's not too hard to get them to spawn, it's hard to get the eggs to hatch and fry survive. Still a awesome achievement though. I managed to get my CL's to spawn in the past but no luck on hatching. I've now got a shoal of 7, soon to be 12 and I'm gonna try again.

yea i got the eggs in incubator conected to the main tank. I was fortunate eneuff to find the eggs in time as almost everything in there would eat them. Hell even if i can get one out of the 3 doz that i saved im sure there were many many more but i saved what i could find.

Sad new guys, eggs developed fungus after 3 days, pics are on my facebook as my pc skills are low my name is ken bonang for those interested in seeing the pic. Really wishing i came home a day earlier to prepare :( next time

tank size is 240 g and clowns range in size from 4 - 9 inches. mates are 3 rays range 8 - 15 inch, indo tiger dats x2, which i highley doubt breed. And some geo damion but they are mouth breeders, and 2 eels one fire eel and a tire track eel both 12 + inches. So unless my eels crossed or maybe more lickley but i doubt it is the geo's fail to pick the eggs but. However upon returning home no geo's were holding. Which is what is leaning me towards the clowns. The tank peramitors were ph 6.8 amonia .5, nitrite .5, nitrate, 5 and temp 80. those were the reading for the day i found the eggs. What should be noticed is that i was away for 3 days so the fish went 3 days no feed and no maintenance of any kind.
