i have heard that it is possible to "crowd" CA cichlids they same way that you keep africans. i have not tried it. there are threads on this site that you can search for. this is where i read about it. it said that you need at least a 180 gallon. and that there had to be ALOT of fish in the tank with no territories to fight over. the theory is that with them that crowded and nothing to fight over, that they get along. i saw some sample tanks, but i don't have it in me to try it. the other thing was to try to grow the fish out together. search for "crowding CA cichlids"

^ i agree the bigger the space each fish has what they want so theres no fighting over it. and the one on youtube looks like one hell of a big tank to house all those flowerhorns.

It's possible. Very possible. But notice they do peck a bit still.

It's possible if they were housed together since young in a spacious tank, however their KOK will not reach to their 100%.

i like it but the only drawback is the FHs will not develop to its best potential.
