just had to rhapsodize about my fish.
kindof a weird hobby for a female especially when the house gets taken over by tanks
but it is soo neat (ok i'm not 12-really)
i've bred some angelfish that i just love,
my severums too
and the arrows are really pets
i will have to get a custum tank or pond at some point
And i can watch my midas throw rocks at each other all day
they're about a year old six in a 70 gallon
very shy
looks like one male 5 females, might have paired though which would probly be fatal to the other 4 smuched up at the other end of the tank
It's weird because i thought they were pretty scientifically interesting,blah blah
now i'm really attatched to most of em
now when i'm ready to take angels to the lfs i'm like
hmm ,not that one. no, not that one that's special lol
Like, omg what a nerd i sound like
"hey i bred a smokey blush super viel pearlscale"
"girl or boy?"
umm
actually just getting the blush super veil pearl is nice cause it's good to cross into stuff
oMG and i got a bunch of young vieja from jeff rapps
Beautiful fish and fast growers, bright colors already too
but i can see trouble brewing,
always tossing in plastic pipe or castles or plastic plants to make hiding spaces
Maybe i'll just cauk my basement and fill it with water
