woke up to find my 3 inch EBJD and my female 4 inch festa in my sump.....the fish look beautiful...as in no fish was picking on them...i did add a couple more small festa to the tank but that wasnt it....ii think my sump just sucked them in and they got stuck on the large rocks i have in my bucket that hold all the media down..... they just got sucked in...DAMMM i still have them i dnt wanna throw them out.....this new over flow and sump so totaly diff them the canister.... and i didnt have a gard of any tipe overing over the tube that sucks water in to the over flow box... i left it off the fist couple weeks today it went on =D but damm i learned the hard way=(
 
Cut up a net and rubber band it over the intake, for a temporary fix. The are many other things you can use, but I just use cheap small nets, that have gotten some holes.

FML airpup died out for 2 days while i wasnt home. dead aro. and festa only have a jardini and my biggest EBJD =(
 
It always hurts at first, but tank space is paramount to most of us.
