wrigglers in tank

So today I am cleaning my tank, which I do 25% water change at least weekly to week and half. I happen to notice these what look like little worms wiggling around in the tank. Has anyone ever seen this and can you tell me what are they and how do I kill them with out harming the fish. Fish appear to be fine with no harm done that I can see..

tried to get pics they are extremely small, actually, don't see them now that the tank has settled.
