Hi I just recently purchased a 120 gal aquarium and when I went to pick it up the guy told me he had a lot of calcium built up on it so he used Windex and Lime-a-Way on it to clean it. So the problem is obvious here. Question is whats the best way to go about setting it up and making sure all the chems are out of the water so i don't send the finned friends to an untimely demise

rinse it and rinse it and rinse it with clean water and vinegar and then let it air dry completely for several days.. or weeks..
I have used CLR to clean calcium stains. I just made sure to do a ridiculous amount of rinsing. I filled it and added fish a couple days later with no issues at all.
