This is a long shot but does anyone know if fish can recover from being exposed to the wrong type of silicone (GE II)?
I'm a giant idiot and read a couple posts saying to use GE II, so I used that to attach my background. I put the fish in and they started dying everywhere and after I thought it was millions of other things I looked into silicone again and read more to find people saying DONT use GE II in later posts, but the damage was done. I ripped off the background, scraped every shred of silicone off the tank and background, then put it back on with the right stuff.
I have 6 fish that lived (6 that died too) and I'm just wondering if they'll eventually definitely die or if they have a chance of survival
