I will be looking to acquire a 180 gallon stand (6'x2') in the near future. It would have to be in the chicagoland area or a reasonable drive from Chicago. If I can't find one that I can afford I will have to build one. Thanks in advance.

The stand would have to meet my wife's approval. I will probably end up building one, but to make it look nice the materials are going to cost quite a bit. The stands I have seen for sale in the lfs around here are $600 and up.
I'll have to get Miles to post a picture of his DIY stand. Quite frankly it looks better then the rest of his furniture. stack some sement block and lay the 2x4 or 4x4 on it. Then cover it with the material and pin it tight so it looks proffessional.
