Hey all

I’ve been out of the hobby for about 5 years and dying to get back into things so I can introduce my kids to our passion.

I’m in need of a new tank so my boys and I can build a freshwater planted show tank. Open to glass or acrylic. Ideal tank size 225g (72 x 25 x 30) but definitely open to larger. I’m in San Diego but willing to drive as far as LA for the right setup. Would love to find a full setup (tank, stand, lights etc) in good condition but a clean tank is the top priority.

Thanks!

Where are the SD MFKers that need to part with my dream tank???

Nice tank Steven! Definitely would work for me. My last tank was a glass 240 and I always wished it was a little deeper so 2.5 would be awesome. I know it’s a heavy beast so that’s going to require a few friends and a rental truck. Let me see if I can line anyone up this coming weekend to help and if so I’ll hit you up...

Not gonna lie to u. Ur gonna need about 6-8 ppl

Yea that's about what I needed when I picked up my 240 back in the day. The extra challenging part for me is that I just moved to SD so it's over 2 hours drive each way and I don't really know many people down here outside of work. BUT I'm going to ask for some favors and see what I can pull together...
