Hi everyone. I have recently been going through some tough times due to the death of every single one of my fish. Conditions in my 120 mysteriously took a turn for the worse while I was ending the cycling process. I have adressed the problem fully and my tank will be on the way to recovery. I was told that I can begin to adress my new plans for stocking. Unfortunately I fear that two of my favorite fish, My Cobra Pike and 9" striped raphael, I may never be able to find again. Here are the fish I am currently looking for:
A cobra pike (6 or more inches) but I am also open to other pikes that grow to be about 12"
A female festae (6 or more inches). I know they are in high demand, but I just thought I'd check.
I am also looking for one or two catfish to replace my deceased ones. I just loved my raphael and I am hoping to find another at around 7 or more inches. I can't take anything much smaller since they grow so slowly.
I would also be interested in a synodontis eupterus (6 or more inches).
I am not limiting my search to these two catfish. I am open to any catfish that grows from 8-12 inches. I would just need to purchase it at a large size.
Of course, I do not expect to be adding these fish all at once. I was just seeing what's available.
PLEASE, help me bring joy back into my tank.

Sorry to hear about it. I know alot of us have had a bad few weeks/month with losing some fish. I know keystone aquatics has a nice size featherfin catfish for about 30.00..

I am very very sorry to hear of your loss and i wish you a full recovery of fish asap... :(

I put the pike in after about 4 weeks of cycling. At that time, the water was clear and stable. A couple days later, I added the raphael, and a week after that, the synodontis. A bacterial bloom came and went, they were all fine. A couple days later, I had another bloom. The next day they were dead. I made a thread about it: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67415
