Anyone got some AC 110's they're looking to get rid of? I'm in the process of setting up my new fishroom and for all my 55's and lower I want to double up AC 110's can't do canisters because they're double stacked tanks. Thanks, let me know.

I'm on Englewood but don't mind driving

Thx, I remember looking at this ad, I believe he's selling the powerheads? lol I realize I said I don't mind driving but Colorado Springs might be a bit far for me. Let me know if you wanna get rid of one.

Thanks

Yeah, they're powerheads not HOB's. I sold a couple of filters already, but they weren't AC110 (they were Penguin 350's). BTW, you actually like AC filters? I've had nothing but trouble with them and don't have any anymore.

I can't find a HOB better and more efficient

But I'm not one of those guys on here that freaks out when people disagree about the quialit of stuff (food and filters). I'm definitely open to experimenting and opinions, but I've had great experience with my AC 110's so far. With this fish room I want everything to be the same so I can mix and match at my leisure.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to start anything, just asking (not that you thought I was). I just can't stand how they never seem to keep prime when you do a water change. What do you do to prevent having to fill them every time? I've just been using mostly Penguins and Emperors for HOB's since I've been keeping fish, so maybe I just got used to them. I tried AC filters, but didn't like them mainly because of that. I usually use canisters now, but still use HOB's on smaller tanks. Good luck with your new fish room!

I usually don't turn my filters off, I do weekly 30% so it usually doesn't go low enough to stop. Also, if I do have to turn them off, I have a smaller siphon with a hand pump on it, I turn it around and refill from the tank itself, take 15-20 seconds tops. Yeah, 4 55's, 2 40 breeders, keeping my 46 bow and 90 with diy bg, adding a 220 after Chinese New Year
