been trying to find an ALL white goldfish for my mothers 55g goldfish tank. needless to say, ive had no luck. close to all whites, but never a completely white. i know there extremely rare due to being culled out in china due to the color being bad luck, or death or something.

with the vast spread of MFK'ers, SOMEBODY has got to be able to get their hands on one. i know goldies arent most of your things, but theres a few that are into them and seen some closet keepers im sure ;) so someones gotta have seen one along the ways....

i dont care if its a comet, lionhead, ranchu, common.....anything but a koi.

help a brother out:popcorn::popcorn:

bumpity bump

I got one in the pond LoL Its only about 5 inches thoe.

so your lfs doesn't have any?? we have a ton here in mn... if you want to pay for them ill ship for you... lol.. not worth it imo

all white goldfish are hard to find because few breeders sell at an age where colors are permanent. goldfish colors and patterns aren't stable until they are at least a year old. most breeders sell at only a few months, and at that age, babies that are red and white or even black can become white adults.
my pure white female was a bright red and white youngster when i bought her. it took her over a year and a half to become pure white.

you may try emailing steve at raingarden.us to see if he has any pure white adults for sale. i bought a watonai from him and he breeds gorgeous, healthy fish.

just be aware that to get a white fish, you may be buying a fish that is over 5 or 6 inches long, no matter where you get it.
