I wana buy a nice looking beta for my gf as a present. her cat ate her last one, and I'm buying her a complete setup tomorrow. I found a really nice one but its in bangkock and the total cost for it to get here is going to be around 60$...

and I refuse to get her one of those ugly ones from petsmart.

so if anyone has nice looking betas for sale please let me know.

the one i was going to get her was a halfmoon beta, or a doube tail.

the colors im looking for are black,red or pink, and anything else.

Even you find one in the States, it will cost you the same. That's the average cost for a fancy betta. I owned a few in just two years ago, so I know they are not your typical 1-buck betta that you can find at A-Dollar Store :grinno:

so my best bet is to have her her pick one and me just order it, rather than trying to find one in the states?
 
for any good halfmoon betta your going to be paying around $20 atleast then tack on shipping and well you know the story. If you can find a local breeder in your area that would be better for you for pricing. So if your wanting cheap I would get some deltas... LoL, not nearly as nice but hey they are cheap.

price is not a problem, just trying to find a better deal :D

appreciate everything people, I might just purchase one from Thailand.

thats where I got the pics from, i've talked to the trans shipper who is in miami, and he told me everything I need to do, and gave me the prices. no good things to find in the us lol
