Hey, I am going to be in need of some cheep bioballs here in the near future. I can't seem to find any online that are cheep and in the bulk that I want. I am looking for at LEASt 10gal. if not 20gal.

I don't feel like paying an arm and a leg either.

If someone has a good quantity or knows a place to get them let me know.

I live in 43326 Kenton.

Why not just use pot scrubbies?

I'll check with the store I work at and see how much they run (I get a 25% discount). I'll let you know tomorrow, I'm in MD so I'd obviously have to ship to you, but they're light and shouldn't cost too much to ship.

I was thinking of going with pot scrubbies but then I got a big box of bio balls and it half was fills the tank that will become a big trickle box. So I thought I would see what I can do for bioballs first then go to the pot scrubbies.

But I have thought of it allready. If I wouldn't have got 10+gals of them allready I wouldn't have this thread lol And the price I got them for was right FREE lol

Can't beat free, and there's no rule saying you can't mix scrubbies and bio balls :D

Yeah If I can't get a god deal on the bio balls I'll more then likly get the scrubbies and put them on the bottom.

What's the quantity amount (# of bio-balls?) for 10-20 gallons?

In all honesty I have not one single clue to a real quantity. I know I have a 30 gal to fill with them and I am right around half way there. So I know it's at least ten more gal.

Ill go do some looking and see how many come in a 5 gal bucket.

Ok 5 gal is 1125 (if you buy for coralife)

So I need in the ballpark of 2500-3000
