WTB: BULK Hikari Cichlid Gold

I'm looking for hikari cichlid gold (the one in the red bag) not the bio-gold in the large pellet size. on fostersandsmith they advertise a 22lb size for around 160 bucks. anyone know of a store i could just walk in and buy that at here in socal? i'd prefer not to buy it over the web and pay for shipping.

You seriously want 22lbs? Do you know how much that is? You'd need a small fish farm to deplete that in 6 months. Not saying you don't need it, just making sure.

Socal? aren't your local sales tax a bit high. Your tax savings might more than pay for the shipping.

yeah, 22 pounds. i go through a 8.8oz bag in 5-6 days. i've got 40 cichlids, 2 aros and 2 catfish that love the stuff. i could probably go through a pound a week if i fed liberally.

as far as sales tax goes, i'll have to look into the difference in price, honestly hadn't considered that yet.

try kensfish.com he doesn't sell hikari but his food is good quality and is cheap
