So I have had some luck over the last year marking some catfish off my hard to find list. Here's a few more I would be interested in if someone is able to bring them in.
Rita rita (confirmed species) I know they are not rare, but I am not 100% certain this is the species commonly imported, but this is the name attached.
North American Blue Catfish, these are not native to Montana and I don't have the funds to go out of state on a fishing expedition to find some babies. lol.
Just about any species in Brachyplatystoma, platynemum, vaillantii, rouseauxii, ect
Hypopthalmus endentatus
Luciopimelodus pati**** this one would be awesome.
There are many others, some cool aussie cats would be awesome as well. Some of the lesser seen Pangasius cats would be cool as well.
These fish have been difficult for me to find and obtain. There are even a few that I have been burned on. Any help is appreciated.
In some cases it's not even that they are not available it's that when they are they sell out so fast I never have a chance to get one. Spawning times of these fish do not coincide with me having money to get them lol. Hopefully I can spin up some interest at least and maybe when they are available again someone will remember me. BTW so nice to see so many more rare cats coming in these days.
