Unless they really renovated the place during the past couple of years... Tongs in West Covina was a dump...

Yeah there's deffinitely better LFS's in west co and the surrounding areas.

Azusa Pets is pretty cool. Tiny tiny little sabre tooth payaras, baby retropinnis bichirs, albino and regular channel cats, lungfish, fahaka puffers (juvies), etc.. etc..

Tongs got a couple juvie nic's for like $10. Showing really nice color too. Their big draw is a lot of aquariums to choose from.

Why don't you just do a google search on the maps and search for tropical fish in West Covina. I drive all over So Cal for work and print out a list for the local vicinity before I leave. I usually get to 3 or 4 places each time and decide if the places are good or not for myself. Tong's in W. Covina is run by like 3 guys. It looks like single guys run it. No fluff, dirty, and not well kept. But hey, they have different stuff all the time so it's fun to go in and look.
