Hey, just my 2 cents. I have 4 new model 05 Fluvals, as well as an FX5. I recently replaced it with an Eheim 2260. Over night, I saw a huge improvement. I gave Fluval a chance for many years. But ... it's true what they say about Eheim ... and I was a non-believer until I tried them myself. First the 2215, then 2217, then the monster 2260. Sorry Fluval ... but it's true.
The FX5 was good, great even. But the 2260 is the best. Again, just my comment - I was going to sell my FX5, but keeping it as a backup ...
