WTB: Glass Tops - IL

Got a screamin deal on a 210 Oceanic. Problem is that the tops are in bad shape. Looking for some good ones. Tank is 84"x24". Willing to travel for right deal.

Shoot me a price and maybe we can work something out.

Go to home depot and tell them the size you need and they should either cut it for you or get the glass cutter to do it yourself.......you can also use acrylic for tops also......so much cheaper to do it yourself!

thats what i do for all my tanks, I just go to lowes and they cut it for me, only a few bucks for the whole thing. then if you really want to you can cut it and add hinges with silicon, and glue handles to the top.

Hmmmm.... I'm thinking of doing this myself as well. Where do you get the hinges or the acrylic thing to put at the back to cut out for the power filters?

You can get the hinges there at home depot.....if you do acrylic you can get regular cabinet hinges and screw them on and glue or screw on handles....also cut the back parts out for the filters and heater......
Glass you have to get a plastic trim hinge and glue it in......
